Boggs Lake, California  U. S. A.
Boggs Lake is a small Nature Conservancy preserve in northern California. The lake is in reality a vernal pool whose bed is an impervious layer of clay that originated from a lava flow. The preserve is home to the yellow Baldderwort which is a one of the few carnivorous plants in North America.
